On Friday 27 March the Queensland Governor,  Penelope Wensley, AO,  made an infromal visit to our museum.

On Arrival she was met by Life Member Errol Jorgensen, OAM,MM, who with  President Peter Flexman  escorted Her Excellency on a guided tour of  the museum exhibits.  She said she was a very keen supporter of cultural history and will recommend this museum to other organisations.

This was followed by a light lunch with the museum volunteers.
